Game Maker Fund Launches Valley of Belonging Through the Sandbox

Game Maker Fund, backed by The Sandbox, publishes The Valley of Belonging. The recent adventure brings a diverse experience to the metaverse, where every background and identity is celebrated.

The Sandbox proudly displays its support for freedom, diversity and pride of expression and identity with development. Developed by People of Crypto and Hermit Crab Game Studio, The Valley of Belonging has proven its innovation and creativity time and time again.

The project is dedicated to spreading participation, representation and diversity in the metaverse. It allows users to experience a valley where hate does not exist, equality is different, and empathy is routine.

The Valley of Belonging encompasses all sexual orientations, gender identities, disabilities and ethnicities. Evelyn was named mayor of the town, where everyone works together to build a welcoming space. Evelyn is looking for support from new players to organize and lead the Pride Parade.

The intention behind the valley is to invite players and organize a parade for them. Certain drag queens, Finn, Trinity and Evelyn, will assign different tasks to players. There will also be 25 collectibles for users to find and collect.

Besides that, there are four points of interest and users can decorate the city, changing the city in no time. Players can discover beautiful places, meet different characters, participate in the community and learn about diversity.

According to the Hermit Crab Game Studio, players will enjoy a safe place that welcomes everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, and ethnicity. This project will start a movement in the field where some people are unrepresented or misrepresented.

The studio added that The Valley of Belonging is fun, energetic and dynamic, with a pink lake and a parade of clouds. With the end of Pride month, different communities will surely cherish the movement, making the Valley a success.
